The GKit Dashboard
Your GKit dashboard is the control center for all connected products — view your products, access settings, and manage your account.
The GKit Dashboard is the central hub for everything in your GKit account. After signing in you land here first, and it gives you a high-level view of every product available under the GKit umbrella alongside quick links to each one.
What the Dashboard Shows
The dashboard displays all GKit products as cards. Each card shows:
- Product name and icon
- Current status — either
beta(live and usable, still receiving updates) orcoming soon(in development, not yet accessible) - A short description of what the product does
Products in coming soon status are visible but their cards are not clickable. This gives you a preview of what is being built without leading you to a broken experience.
Navigating to a Product
Click any active product card to open that product's dedicated dashboard. Each product runs on its own subdomain under gkit.mreshank.com — for example, SheetsAPI lives at sheetsapi.gkit.mreshank.com. The navigation is seamless because your session carries over automatically (see Session below).
The SheetsAPI Dashboard
The SheetsAPI dashboard at sheetsapi.gkit.mreshank.com is the most fully featured product dashboard currently available. From there you can:
- View connected sheets — all Google Sheets you have linked to SheetsAPI, along with their Sheet ID and last-sync status
- Create API keys — generate a new key scoped to one or more sheets, set a label, and copy it for use in your application
- View your userKey — your account-level identifier used in SheetsAPI request headers; treat this like a username, not a secret
Full SheetsAPI documentation is available in the SheetsAPI section of these docs.
Account Settings
GKit does not store passwords. Your account is tied to your Google identity — everything is managed through Google's own account settings at myaccount.google.com. If you need to change your name, profile photo, or email address, do that in your Google account and GKit will reflect the update on your next page load.
There is no separate GKit profile page to maintain.
Session and Single Sign-On
Once you sign in on any *.gkit.mreshank.com subdomain you stay signed in across all of them. You do not need to authenticate again when you navigate from the main dashboard to the SheetsAPI dashboard or any other product. The session is shared at the cookie domain level, so it works automatically in the same browser.
If your session expires you will be redirected to the sign-in screen from whichever page you were on, and returned there after authenticating.
Signing Out
To sign out, click your avatar in the top-right corner of any GKit page and select Sign out. This ends your session across all GKit subdomains. You will be redirected to the GKit homepage.
